Dr. sc. hum. Henrik Jungaberle
Dr. sc. hum. Henrik Jungaberle is a health scientist and prevention and psychotherapy researcher. Together with the OVID clinical management and Dr. rer. nat. Max Wolff, he supports the clinical management in the conception and supervision of clinical research in OVID. Henrik Jungaberle is the managing director of OVID's partner organization MIND Foundation . He conducts research in the areas of public health, prevention and psychedelic science - and has also been a science entrepreneur together with his wife Andrea Jungaberle since 2016. He is particularly interested in new forms of learning, integration and integrity in the use of psychoactive substances - and how this can be designed on an individual, clinical, social and political level.
In 2000 he received his PhD from the Medical Faculty of the University of Heidelberg. For eighteen years (1996-2014) he worked at the Institute of Medical Psychology at the University Hospital Heidelberg , where he conducted and led EU and DFG funded projects on salutogenesis and psychoactive substances. From 2013-2020 Henrik was chairman of the non-profit association FINDER , from which the MIND Foundation emerged. With his teams he developed and teaches programs such as REBOUND (prevention of substance abuse) and the European Prevention Curriculum EUPC. He is a developer, moderator and trainer in various psychedelics-related programs such as BEYOND EXPERIENCE (psychedelic integration), APT – Psychedelic Therapy Training (clinical training for physicians and psychotherapists) and head of MIND's psilocybin depression study group in Prof. Dr. med. Gerhard Gründer's EPIsoDE study .
